Peregrines in Wales
South Stack on Anglesey: a coastal option with official visitor guidance.
South Stack, Anglesey
Visit Anglesey's South Stack guide identifies peregrines among the birds associated with these cliffs. Use the RSPB reserve page for current opening, facilities, accessibility and route information.
This is coastal watching rather than a close nest-camera view. Scan from the designated viewpoints, stay behind barriers and do not move towards a cliff edge for a photograph. A species being recorded here does not mean you will see it on a particular day.
Plan around the conditions
Wind, rain and visibility can make a cliff watch uncomfortable or unproductive. Check the forecast and the reserve's notices before travelling. Keep enough flexibility to shorten the walk or use another permitted viewpoint if conditions change.
Ask the reserve team about suitable public watching areas and access needs. Do not assume all routes, buildings and viewpoints have the same step-free access.
Elsewhere in Wales
This page is a starting place, not a directory of nests. Use reserve visitor guidance and public events to plan further outings. For close observations of breeding behaviour without approaching birds, try our webcam directory.
